Regional Committee

Skills for Care North West is one of the nine Skills for Care regional committees for the social care sector.

The Committee is an employer-led committee made up of a range of strategic players from across the region, who represent a mix of statutory and non-statutory employers, trade unions and professional associations, further and higher education, independent training providers, service users and carers.

Stephen Sloss became the Chair of the Regional Committee in September 2009.The Committee meet quarterly to discuss a range of issues.

Barbara Redshaw has recently been appointed to the position of Vice Chair.
