Cheshire LRN Co-ordinator vacancy - opportunity to host

The current LRN Co-ordinator has secured a post within the new Cheshire West and Chester Council. This means there is a vacancy within the LRN team for a temporary Co-ordinator, initially through to 31st March 2010.

The LRN Steering Group are seeking expressions of interest from existing partner or stakeholder organisations which may be willing to host the above post.

Any organisation who wishes to express an interest in must meet the following criteria as an absolute minimum:

1. Understand and share the values and objectives of the LRN.
2. Have demonstrable evidence of active participation in the LRN
3.  Have a track record of successful management of significant resources (including funding from public sources) and similar posts (i.e. workforce, learning and development and administration)
4.  Have experience of performance management systems and used to dealing with robust monitoring and evaluation processes.
5. Be flexible in terms of organisational change to ensure the objectives of the LRN are successful.
6. Have sufficient infrastructure arrangements (or potential) e.g. accommodation, network support etc to ensure that the post holder can operate effectively.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 29th May.
