Funding

The main source of funding in the North West is Training Strategy Implementation funding (TSI).

Visit our national site to use our interactive funding guide

The TSI fund is an amount of money provided on an annual basis by the Department of Health for Skills for Care to use to support employers in adult social care (including those who employ their own support staff) to complete training units. TSI funding offers a contribution of £80.00 per unit.

Download the TSI leaflet for more information.

To claim this funding organisations must join an Employer-led Partnership. To join your local partnership contact your local lead partner

Employer-led partnerships are locally based partnerships of employers, who look at training, qualifications and other workforce issues. There are 22 Employer-led Partnerships in the North West, one for each Local Authority areaAny social care employer can join however the partnerships do have membership criteria.
